Boyfriends Pants

Basically, the boyfriend jean looks like you are wearing your boyfriends pants. They are pretty cool because you can wear them anywhere and anyhow. I must admit that this is the right and perfect kind of jeans for me because it flatters any body type as it is loose and slouchy. In fact, I always wear my pants all over and over again. I never get tired of wearing it because they are the most comfortable.
On an ordinary or casual days, I just paired them with simple basic fit/loose top or graphic tees, and slippers or my black converse. I just loved my ragged and boyish look! At night, for a sexy look, I paired them with anything nice that will flatter my figure and of course, to complete my look, a killer heels!

That little tuck-and-roll makes the pants more stylish and sophisticated!

These days I am finding myself in love with it.  And, I’m not alone.  Celebs everywhere are in love too!

How about you?

CYMA

OPANow that’s the one expression in Greek that almost everyone knows. It means "Hooray!" and you might just find yourself shouting it out after you dig into one of Cyma’s excellent Greek dishes.

Our love for Greek Cuisine only began when Eson and I discovered Cyma in Shangri-la. I am looking forward to go back on my next visit in Manila.

And so we ordered the following:

Saganaki Flaming-Cheese
Hear waiters cheer OPA!
Eson and I ordered this as one of our appetizers. In fact, it is one of their specialty! We loved the flaming Mozerella cheese topped with herbs.

Baby Clams Angel Hair
Pacific baby clams, with white wine, lemon, parsley, grated parmesan cheese and garlic butter
The taste was so heaven! It was really good! A MUST TRY!!

Baklava
Layered phyllo with walnuts and orange honey syrup.
I pleased Eson to order me a dessert. When I was still in the States, I remembered my friend sent us a big box full of Baklava. He told us it was one of those must try famous Greek desserts. At first, my brother and I couldn't understand the taste but after bits of savoring it, to our surprise, we almost finished the box!
The moment my dessert was served, I was disappointed because its appearance and taste were not the one I expected. Eson noticed that I was not happy and satisfied with my order. So he told me not to force myself if I don't feel like eating the whole thing. But I managed to eat half of it!
Nevertheless, I still love Greek cuisine.

CYMA is located at Level 6 Shangri-la Mall, Level 4 Trinoma Mall, and Greenbelt 2.

We LOVE Gloria Maris

On our way to Manila from Subic, I noticed it was past 12:00 noon already and we were still stuck in a heavy traffic along San Juan. It was pretty obvious we were all hungry and I could hear the continuous rumbling sound of my tummy! Suddenly, Eson decided to make a turn so we could have our lunch at Gloria Maris. Since the three of us; my dad, Eson and I, are a big fan of chinese food especially the food in Gloria Maris, it perfectly made our day!
Lucky Eson for he always keep coming back there every twice or thrice a month to satisfy his cravings but not for me, I only get the chance whenever I visit Manila. I envy him!
And so we ordered the following:

Shanghai Xiao Long Pao

Hakaw

Shark's Fin Siomai

Steamed Fish Fillet in Garlic Soy Sauce

Fried Spareribs with salt and pepper
and...

Yang Chow Fried Rice

A voracious eater like us definitely finished everything! (chuckle)

Chinese Food are always our favorite. I even crave for dim sum every twice a week. Luckily, in Davao, we also have really good chinese restaurants. My top list favorites are Ahfat, Emerald's Garden and Dimsum Diner.

Gloria Maris is located at Club Filipino Ave., Greenhills Shopping Complex, San Juan. (Recommended branch)

KITCHEN Experience

Eson and I had dinner last Sunday at Kitchen. The place was perfect with really good homey ambiance. It has dainty chandeliers and a very nice overhead lamps, they had long tables and benches in a wooden accent, and they had these oversized utensils that I mistakenly thought it was a serving spoon and a fork!, well, to find out more, they had big plates too and so it is! The lightning is soft which is very conducive to relaxing. I fell in love with the place.
And so we ordered..

Swirl Around. A mixed seafood pumpkin soup.
The funny thing was when Eson ordered it, I told myself, 'Why the heck did he order a pumpkin soup anyway?' I never liked and even tasted it ever since! But, to my surprise, it was really good like I almost finished half of it! I loved the seafood mixed as well. It gives a better taste!

Sun-Dried. A pesto penne topped with tuyo flakes.
By just looking at it, I was delighted to see the food but when I tasted the pesto, it was kinda tasteless. But the good thing was, it was paired with crunchy tuyo which was pretty salty too. It was just a perfect combination! I savored every bit of it.

(Imaginary Image)
Sand Bar. A pandan rice with tuna salpicao.
I loved the pandan rice so much! The smell was so enticing. Eson put saucy chopped garlic on top of it which tasted even more better! I kept reaching out to take spoonfuls of his food. (chuckle)

The food was really great, they have big servings on big platters and the price was also very reasonable.

Now I know why Eson loved the restaurant. In fact, he was the one who introduced me there. I would definitely come back to taste their other dishes.

Indeed, it was a delightful meal for both of us. We both loved our Kitchen experience. We left the restaurant with total tummy satisfaction.

Kitchen is located at Greenbelt 3, 1st level and Robinsons Galleria.

Saturday it is!

Last Saturday, my flight to Manila was way too early. So I tried to be at the airport as early as I could to avoid crazy long cues. While checking in my baggage, I was shocked because I exceeded 5 kilos! Unluckily, I formed another line to pay the charges. While in line, the cashier was working too slow and later after 15 minutes, boarding of passengers were announced. It was pretty shameful because there were only 3 of us left waited to be on board. And so I hurried my way to the plane. The funny thing was, I didn't run instead I was like doing a brisk walk! To my great shame, I headed to my seat as fast as I could. In awhile, we're all ready to take off. I was very sleepy and tired while waiting. I kept checking the estimated arrival time. I just can't wait to see Eson. That is.
Finally. I arrived in Manila around 8:45 AM. Eson picked me up and when I saw him, I felt so alive! Hallelujah! I just can't wait to give him a big hug.
That day, Eson reserved an online movie ticket at Trinoma to watched 2012. We first had our lunch at World Chicken. It's one of our favorite just around the corner of Trinoma's food court. Last July, I remembered Eson introduced me the Pesto Pasta he loved ever since. Thereafter, my love for pesto began that time. I learned and mastered how to cook my very own that Eson will never replaced with any other kind of Pesto! Not at all!

We loved their chicken combo. I prefer the mushroom gravy paired with 'saging'. Slurp! slurp!

2012 was seriously awesome! It made me cry too. Sniff sniff*.
I managed to watched it on the very first day it came out. The cinema was packed! Luckily, we had our reserved seats. Thanks to my guy!

That night, Eson and I were invited by a couple of friends and so we decided to meet up with them and headed all to White Moon. It is an open-air breathtaking kind of bar. It is very chic and beautiful. The music was really great. Anyone looking for a bar with a good sunset view? Well, White Moon is the place to be.

Before 2009 ends

This year was a whole lot better. Much much better! A year that toughen my personality, my mind and my heart as well. There were so many things have changed, and so many unpredictable and uneventful experiences happened in my life, regardless if its good or bad. It's worth every learning and experience.  And, it was just, so.. overwhelming.

Let me summarized..

JANUARY
My brother and I left Philippines to work at States. It was a sudden decision wer I had to go along with him. I pondered how difficult it was being away without my parents, helpers, drivers and all. But still, I gave it a try. My stay there was an easy transition for me though. I got a job, lived with my brother's in laws and some relatives, and of course, I still have strong support back home with my family and friends. During that time, I learned a lot of things. Doing my laundry, washing the dishes, cleaning the house and the bathroom as well, making my bed, cooking, and learning how to ride a bus all by myself. I was totally independent! In fact, I became financially independent too. Perhaps, it was not that easy to learn something new that I haven't even tried nor experienced before. But in the end, it was fulfilling. Very very fulfilling.

Gladly, I met a couple of new friends. I miss them so much!

        Out to party!

Marithza and I

FEBRUARY
I took the Nursing Licensure Examination last November 2008 and during that month, the results were not yet out until the 20th of February. Thank God, I passed. That was the best birthday present I ever had on my 22nd!

MARCH, APRIL, MAY
Work, work, and work. So many things happened during those months. Those were the times I started to feel sad, lonely and stressed. I just miss everybody back home.

JUNE
Finally, My brother and I flew to Las Vegas, and it was soo much fun! Shop all day, party all night!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

By late June,  we both decided to go back in the Philippines. Indeed, 'Home is where the heart is'. I miss everybody.

JULY
A certified complete bum! I enjoyed every single day.
By mid-July, I visited Eson in Manila together with my brother and friends. That was so much fun! I miss Manila.

AUGUST
And.. back in Manila again.

Eson and I at my favorite chinese resto, Choi Garden
Surprisingly, for straight 2months, Eson and I always see each other every week. I can't believe all his efforts are so priceless and meaningful to me. I missed him so much.

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
Realizations...

1. Jobless. I realized I was bored to death by just doing nothing at all. I want to go back to those times I kept myself busy. Haay mababaw lng naman. Honestly, I'm a desperate job seeker! I want to work something beyond my capabilities. I mean, I just don't want to limit myself. I want to learn on the other side wer my greatest interest lies in. That would make me really happy!

2. I realized after I came from states, I gained 'half' freedom from my parents. Being independent really helped me. It is one thing in my life that I can prove to myself as well as to my parents that I've grown up. I love my parents so much. Who doesn't right? They've always been there as my number one supporters. It felt so good.

Complete happiness!

NOVEMBER
Mid-Sweet November.
I was with Eson for a week. Lucky enough my parents allowed me. Told yah!

 LOVE FOOL! I'm completely insane.

DECEMBER

Full of joys and laughters, Christmas is in the air. I really can't wait. :)

2009 is a blessing. Thank you Lord.
Thanks to all those people who have touched my life and been part of it. Love you all:)
